About Adithya

Adithya was interested in drawing from a young age. He started scribbling on the wall, and we were not able to figure out what it means. When he started talking, he named them. Slowly, we asked him to draw on a board and slate using the chalk. Later, we started giving him a pencil and paper to illustrate whatever he likes.

His interest was more towards drawing many Indian Gods like Ganesha and Krishna. Later on, he also started drawing many famous cartoon characters.

He loves to get coloring books from the shop and does not color. He looks at them to draw on paper and makes it colorful using crayons.

When he was eight years old, we went and picked up a coloring book relating to Ramayana. It was summer vacation, and he started drawing all the pictures in the book and started coloring them. I laminated all those pages and made them like a book. As a sheer coincidence, we came across an advertisement regarding a summer vacation camp for three days conducted by Amar Chitra Katha. They asked the kids to imagine a story and illustrate them with their imagination. They made it like a comic book and sent the physical copy of it.

And then, it all began! He started imagining his own story and made characters Ram, Aadhi, and Nidhi. You must have guessed who Aadhi is! The rest of the two characters are his cousins Sreeram and Sreenidhi. Through them, he started telling stories which he imagines. So far, he has written and illustrated several books. He has drawn more than 1000+ pictures for making these books.

Adithya is currently studying at Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Chithali. His school teachers and Principal have provided him tremendous support. His school library has all his books so that all the children can read them.

Apart from writing books, he also loves to watch all the cartoon channels and reads a lot about animals. He is very fond of animals and loves to read and watch all the articles and videos that showcase interesting unknown facts about animals.
